Day 11 - Sections

The first picture includes the sections in my planner. The second picture is of clear dividers for a planner I'm making to give to Boomer for Christmas. I made the clear dividers with laminating sheets, Washi tape, and stickers. I made a template and taped it to the outside of the laminating pouch then used the Washi tape for the edges and added stickers. So, clear dividers so you can see what is on the page.

Photo Challenge Day 7

Today was Day 7 of the photo challenge, Workspace. We have an extra piggie this weekend, busy day today two soccer games. It's looking like pizza for dinner tonight! Balancing schedules...it a lot of effort. Short post today just trying to keep up with the photos.

Trip to the City

Today is Day 5 - Wishy Washi. Do you know what Washi tape is? It is really fun tape. It's like colored masking tape. Today's photo challenge was "Wishy Washi". Under the Wishy heart is the display at Staples and in the basket is my collection including some of the colored Scotch tape (which is not the same as Washi tape).

I went into the city today. It was a fun day at Sam's Club, Hobby Lobby, Staples and Barnes and Noble. Oliver Garden for lunch with a friend was a special treat. I came home with a few new colors of Washi tape and new erasable pens from Staples.

Busy, busy, busy

Today is the Day 3 - Fountain of Pens. I don't think I need anymore pens do you? I didn't realize how many we had until I rounded everything up for this picture. Might not need more pens for a few years.

Yesterday was a busy day even with it being a holiday. I ran all over town, donations dropped-off, groceries, household item, and vitamins purchased. I was tired at the end of the day! And I still had a few more errands to run today! Wow! My planner is so full I can't add anything more. And the rest of the week is just as full!

Planner Addict

So, I joined this Facebook group called Planner Addicts. I found the group from a blog I like to read (http://www.abowlfulloflemons.net/). There was a photo challenge issued for the month of September. I will attempt to follow the daily challenge. Today Day 1 - Cover, my cover was very boring so I changed it. It only had my name on it so I designed a new cover using (http://www.wordle.net/create).

Other news today, we start a ladies Bible study at church. It is a Women of Faith Study, Living a Life of Balance. Let's see if I'll be able to balance everything.

I took Rainbow to Gamestop to get a free Pokemon. She called one of her best friends in MO to see if they got the same Pokemon at their Gamestop.

Mower Problems

Moose helped fix the mower. We needed a new deck belt put on the mower. Moose used a YouTube video to help figure out how to change the belt. He also cleaned-up the deck before putting it back on the mower.

A "Happy" and A "Water War"

I had an extra piggie all weekend, when the parents came to claim their piggie I received a "Happy"! Very awesome "Happy"!

So, I let the piggies and their friends have a "Water War" in the front yard on Saturday. They build forts with trash cans, lawn chairs, tarps, a rain coat, hulu hoop (I know really), and anything else they could find in the yard. Each team had a hose and they played for about three hours and had an awesome time! Today, I got a notice on the front door from the water company suggesting I might have a leak because my water consumption had increased. No leak just a "Water War"!

Chair Refurbished

Moose helped me refurbish my desk chair. We used a staple gun, extra padding and a piece for fabric.The cushion was ripped and there were missing screws. In the end it looks awesome. Perhaps will will recover the back of the chair too...na, we'll wait until it needs to be recovered.

First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for the piggies. Rainbow and Lil Bit started new schools and were very nervous. I took them to school today but they will ride the bus from now on which I might reconsider since the bus comes at 6:30 AM.

Lunch was packed with awesome reuseable bags and containers from The Container Store. I went shopping while in St. Louis this summer.

Happy, Happy, Happy

A few friends and I got to go hear Phil Robertson speak today.

Look Out

Moose got his drivers permit today! Look out world here he comes.

Moose: "Can I drive home?"
Princess: "No. Wait until Boomer moves back home to drive with her."
Moose: "No, really can I drive home?"
Princess: "No, really you CAN NOT drive home. It's going to take my nerves a while to process this."

Our state does not require drivers education so your drivers education begins with a drivers permit. When you start to learn to drive. Moose has only driven the lawn tractor. I need baby steps or an open field or Boomer to take him out.

Alarm Clock?

Moose came home from Boy Scout camp today with a new "alarm clock". He was helping replace the fire alarm system at camp this summer. One of the Scout Masters helped him use one of the old alarm sirens, a batter, switch and wire to create his very own "alarm clock". I can't wait until I ask Moose to get up in the morning and he doesn't. It is going to be a great way to wake him...(said with an evil grin)...mwahahaha!
